Rods Timber is an American Lumber and Timber company focused on export markets mostly to Europe, The Middle East, and Africa.  We supply a variety of Timber and Lumber products sourced from forests mostly in North America. These products include include red oak, White Oak, yellow pine, polar, Ash, Cherry, and Walnut.

Southern Yellow Pine

Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) is strong and is often the choice for construction projects that include framing, roofing, doors frames, window frames. It can also be used for cabinets and houshold furniture. It is highly resistant to wear. More importantly, it is often more economical than other wood species. We export SYP in rough 4/4 and 8/4 dimensions. We also support standard metric dimensions required by international markets in Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The life of SYP can be extended with pressure treatment to combat wood destroying organisms.

Red Oak

Red Oak is a hardwood that comes with light to medium brown color tones. It offers a distinctive look that makes it ideal for a multitude of interior projects. It is straight-grained and machines well. It is often used for doors, windows, wall coverings, and household home furnishings. Kiln drying allows us to control the air flow, temperature and humidity so that the hardwood dries 6%-8% uniformly. We export Red Oak in 4/4 and 8/4 thinkness and various grades from premium grades (FAS) to more economical grades (# 1 common) to meet every budget

Poplar

Poplar is a budget-friendly wood species that tops many others in terms of workability and look especially when strained. It's soft but dense so it's delightfully easy to shape and machine. More often than not poplar is either pained or stained to resemble more expensive wood species like Walnut for example. It is a great choice for kitchen cabinets as well as furniture making. Many construction companies also turn to Poplar when other options aren't available or out of budget. We export Poplar in various grades, lengths, thicknesses, and widths ranging from 8/4 FAS to 4/4 #2 common all Kiln dried.

Walnut

American Black Walnut is one of the most distinctive species of hardwoods. The black walnut wood that we export has a rich brown grained texture. It is a prized item for high end furniture making, interior finishes, moldings, and executive office design. we export walnut in both 8/4 and 4/4 all FAS grade and Kiln dried Plywood panels are recommended for use where structural integrity and appearance are of Essence. Sanded plywood is graded for both appearance and strength. It can be used in many applications that include load carriage as an example. If extending the life is important for your application, we can pressure treat plywood before shipping
